Description
The Alarm Alert Deluxe Patient Alarm by Blue Jay is a battery-powered caregiver alarm and fall-prevention system designed to alert staff when a patient leaves a chair or bed or steps on a floor sensor. The enclosure uses a durable ABS plastic housing with a removable soft alarm boot to absorb shocks and protect internal components. The kit includes: deluxe alarm boot, wall bracket, U-bracket, 9-volt battery, wall bracket screws, and a user guide. It is compatible with Alarm Alert Sensor Pads Bj115207 (chair pad) and Bj115307 (bed pad); pads are sold separately.
- Power and controls: toggle switches select Alarm or Music Tone, High or Low volume, and 0-second or 2-second alarm delay; mode can be floor or chair/bed pad.
- Alarm behavior: the alarm sounds and the indicator flashes red when the patient moves off the sensor pad or steps on the floor pad.
- Mounting: easily mount or clip on a wheelchair, bed, or lifting chair.
- Reset and indicators: reset by pressing both buttons simultaneously or placing the patient back on the sensor pad; low-battery indicator blinks yellow when a 9V battery is needed.
