Description
Delta-Lite red casting tape, 2 in (5.1 cm) wide by 4 yd (3.66 m) long per roll; box contains 10 rolls. This configuration is configured for limb immobilization and splinting applications in clinical and field settings.
Material: knitted fiberglass substrate impregnated with polyurethane resin. Activation: water-activated; applied wet, then molded around the area to form a plaster-like contour. As the resin hydrates, it cures to a rigid support that maintains immobilization during healing.
Packaging: individually wrapped rolls to protect moisture and sterility; ten rolls per box. Color red is visible after curing. Suitable for use with standard padding and bandages and compatible with common immobilization techniques.
Dimensions and performance: 2-inch width provides broad contact with fewer wraps; 4-yard length yields enough material for forearm or lower-leg casts. The fiberglass-polyurethane combination offers lightweight rigidity and predictable setting when activated with water.
