Description
The 12 Absolute+axis Goniometer (aa) is a diagnostic instrument designed to reduce measurement variability in range-of-motion assessments. It establishes true vertical and horizontal orientation using integrated absolute axes, eliminating eyeballing. The instrument features permanently incorporated vertical and horizontal levels into the 12-inch Aa Baseline and its accompanying baseline section, enabling consistent alignment across sessions and when positioning the patient.
- 12-inch baseline with a two-color baseline for straightforward zero alignment
- Circular protractor head with degree scale (0–180 degrees) for precise angle reading
- Absolute Axis system eliminates eyeballing by aligning to true vertical/horizontal
- Integrated levels permanently embedded in both baseline components
- Two-arm design with a fixed baseline and a movable goniometer arm for angle measurement
- Clear graduation marks and reference lines support repeatable readings
- Designed for measuring: shoulder and hip internal/external rotation, cervical flexion/extension/rotation and side bending
- Includes hamstring flexibility and active range-of-motion assessments
- Compatible with standard clinical ROM protocols and patient positioning for consistent results
