ROHO Enhancer Cushion, 15 x 16 inches, uses a two-manifold air-in-place system that guides midline channeling of the femurs to improve lateral stability and protect skin and soft tissue. Its cellular design and soft, pliable cells allow the user to immerse into the cushion for even pressure redistribution while reducing friction and shear. The cushion is adjustable to an individual’s shape and weight and adapts to positional changes over time. Weight is approximately 3 lb (1.4 kg); height is 4.25 in (10.5 cm).
The flame-resistant black neoprene cover is latex-free and machine washable; the cushion itself is washable with soap and water. The system is repairable via patching to extend life. Included components are the enhancer cushion, a two-way stretch cover with non-slip bottom, a hand inflation pump, a repair kit, and operating instructions. Medicare codes E2624 and E2625 apply. Indications include history of skin/soft tissue breakdown or pressure ulcers (including deep tissue injury), risk of breakdown, pelvic asymmetry up to 1 in (2.5 cm), and need for improved lower-extremity alignment.
